HISTORY and PRESENT

The first written remark regarding a testing laboratory at Vítkovice Ironworks dates back to 1873. Testing laboratories expansion has run parallel to the development of ironworks, heavy engineering and metallurgy. The development of testing laboratories has been positively influenced by the implementation of nuclear power systems engineering technologies as well as by the production certificates requirements according to the European, American and/or the other standards.
