Tests of basic mechanical properties

  • Tensile test at the room temperature(load range 100 – 1000 kN)
  • Tensile test at elevated temperatures up to 1000 °C
  • Through-thickness tension test
  • Impact test (temperature range from -90 °C to +100 °C and -196 °C)
  • Hardness tests (Brinell, Rockwell, Vickers)

Technological tests

  • Bend test
  • Ring tensile test
  • Flattening test
  • Ring-expanding test
  • Weld bending test acc. to SEP 1390

Other tests

  • Hardenability test by end quenching (Jomini), also the calculated method acc. to ASTM A255
  • Drop-weight Tear Test DWTT, maximum fall energy 40 000 J
  • Determination of mechanical properties after artificial ageing
  • Mechanical properties testing of the weld joints

Testing of ferrous and nonferrous metals and their alloys and of weld joints is performed according to the EN, ISO, ASTM, ASME, GOST standards and the customers' requirements.
